In Production: A Talent for Sadness by Jendi Reiter

Our first title is A Talent for Sadness by Jendi Reiter. This collection, Reiter's first, is a hard look at the demands and challenges of love. The poems tell their difficult tales with a stunning lyric skill. Reiter's poetry has appeared in The Best American Poetry 1990, The New Criterion, Alaska Quarterly Review, and elsewhere. Her work was a finalist for the Yale Series of Younger Poets Award before being selected by Turning Point. A Talent for Sadness will be published in the fall of 2003.
