WordTech Communications LLC welcomes submissions of book-length poetry manuscripts. Unlike most poetry publishers, we do not charge reading fees. All chosen manuscripts are published under a royalty contract.

2005 Submissions: WordTech is currently closed for submissions.

Please read our discussion of book sales and how they factor into our editorial decisions. Also please read our marketing tips for authors.

Our books are selected and published through six imprints, each with a diferent focus:

Cherry Grove Collections. Lyric poetry.

CustomWords. Diverse styles of poetry. More experimental poetry would have a better chance with this imprint.

David Robert Books. Poetry written with special attention to craft. In practice this means formal poetry or free verse that has careful attention to sound and rhythm.

Turning Point. Narrative poetry.

Word Press. No restrictions on subject or style.

WordTech Editions. Poetry that connects human experience to larger contexts, such as historical, political, or natural/environmental. The formal style of a book here is less important than its thematic focus.

We encourage you to browse our imprint websites, read the book descriptions and sample poems posted there, and let us know which imprint you feel fits your manuscript best. This will not preclude us from considering your work for all of our imprints, but it is helpful in allowing us to understand where you see your work fitting.

Additional Guidelines: No submissions will be returned. We will contact you if we have interest in your work. Please include name, telephone number, address, and e-mail address so we can get in touch with you.
